Antique Old Sheffield Capana shaped wine cooler, dated circa 1830.
Beautifully made in a melon style with shell, leafwork and flower decoration.
The liner is easily removed to pack ice down the internal sides.
Being made originally from sheet silver fused to copper, the outside surface is showing no signs of wear whatsoever.
This is an authentic piece of Old Sheffield, with lead filled relief work and underneath the top border it still has its
silver thread edge to hide the copper edge.
